Time Travel FRIDAY 6.13, Forms at AFTERJUMPFEST 6.21!!!

I've been playing with some New Age Tribal Synth Music, and I'm going to be playing some of it Friday at a pretty cool place called the Yard in Carroll Gardens. (http://www.theyard.ws) I/we play pretty early -- 6:30.

We're playing with a band I like a lot called Physics Of Meaning, which I guess I would describe as what would happen if Robert Plant were ridiculous at the violin. In a good way tho. The singer/violinist Daniel, in addition to being a cool guy and the type of old-school weirdo I can really relate to, plays with St. Vincent and Pattern Is Movement and John Vanderslice and some others I'm probably forgetting.

Bowery, Apes, Androids, Remix

Forms will be playing Bowery Ballroom on 5/30 with Apes and Androids and Free Blood. Should be interesting, if this awesome flier is any indication. ;)

Also, we are working on some remixes-- really re-recordings almost-- of song from the self-titled, on which we will be getting guest vocalists. We've got Red Gun done. Stay tuned.

April Forms tour with Cloud Cult!

Hi all! Much afoot here. The Forms will be touring with Cloud Cult in April. Check out the dates on the Forms myspace. Additionally, we'll be doing the Macrock festival on 4/5. Same deal-- check the myspace.

Last, but not least, we just finished mixing our cover of Billy Joel (won't say which song... yet) for Guilty By Association. Thanks Wes!

Forms with Pattern and Craig!

The Forms will be playing Gothamist's 5 year anniversary party at Union Hall on Friday 2.13.08 with our buddies Pattern Is Movement ..... and .....CRAIG WEDREN from one of our all time favorite bands Shudder To Think!

You'll need to get tickets soon from Ticketmaster, because it'll probably sell out. Doors at 8.
